Forth Bridges
|

The Fishing Village of Crail, Kingdom of Fife
|
You will cross the famous Forth Road Bridge with views of the remarkable rail bridge and into the ‘Kingdom of Fife’. Here you will join the picturesque coast road to visit the quaint fishing villages of Anstruther and Crail. A stop at Crail for coffee then a short run round the coast to the delightful University town and birthplace of golf - St Andrews.
Your 5* Luxury Resort Hotel overlooks the Old Course, the most famous golf course in the world, and has spectacular views out to the west beach and sea beyond.
This evening you will dine at The Road Hole Gril, St Andrew’s most memorable dining experience. Located on the top floor of your Hotel and overlooking the most famous hole in golf, the elegant grill room offers panoramic views over the St Andrews links, the surrounding countryside and the sea.

DAY TWO - Golf at St Andrews or a visit to Scone Palace and tour of St Andrews
This morning we will arrange for you to play a round of golf at the game's spiritual home. With a spectacular setting above St Andrews, the championship Duke's Course gives magnificent panoramic views over the surrounding countryside to the sea.

The Duke's Course, St Andrews
|
Duke's is highly regarded as one of the finest heathland championship courses in the British Isles and a 'must play' course for any golfer.
Its style ranks alongside the great inland challenges which demand accuracy and inventive play as well as power golf.
With five separate tee positions at every hole, Duke's has the flexibility and challenge to appeal to golfers at every level. |
For the non-golfers we will arrange a tour to Scone Palace, the home of the Earls of Mansfield, and a place that breathes history like nowhere else in Scotland. Scone Palace has been the seat of numerous parliaments and the crowning place of Kings. It has housed the Stone of Destiny and been immortalised in Shakespeare's Macbeth.
We will arrange for your group to enjoy a 2-course lunch at a restaurant in St Andrews before spending the afternoon exploring the town's historic sights, golfing ‘legends’, numerous shopping opportunities or just a bracing walk along the West Sands.
This evening you will dine in the award winning Seafood Restaurant which offers modern, contemporary dining in an outstanding location. The open theatre kitchen and magnificent views over the West Sands and North Sea will ensure a spectacular and memorable evening.

DAY THREE - Golf at Carnoustie or a visit to Blair Castle and the House of Bruar
This morning the golfers will make the short journey to Carnoustie to play the famous Championship Course, host of the memorable 1999 and 2007 British Opens. The Championship course is a long and intimidating sight and when the wind blows across the Tay Estuary it becomes even tougher. One catches a glimpse of home on the 15th green only then to come face to face with three of the world's most challenging holes to finish. This is a "must play" course and will be on the British Open rota for many years to come.

Queens View, Perthshire
|
For the non-golfers we will arrange a tour of scenic Highland Perthshire where you will visit the historic cathedral town of Dunkeld and the picture perfect Queen's View. On a clear day the view along Loch Tummel to Schiehallion and beyond to the hills of Glencoe is spectacular.
Following a pub lunch in Blair Atholl you will continue to visit magnificent Blair Castle, the ancient seat of the Dukes and Earls of Atholl. With its roots in the 13th century, Blair Castle’s history extends over some 740 years, during which time it has welcomed countless generations of visitors. |
In the grounds you can enjoy Diana’s Grove and the 18th century Hercules Garden before entering the castle to view a spectacular display of arms and armour. You'll also find The Atholl Highlander Room which commemorates Europe’s only remaining private army which has its headquarters at the castle.

Blair Castle
The tour will then continue to The House of Bruar, Scotland's most prestigious country store. Within its unique environment nestling at the side of the famous Bruar Falls, The House of Bruar offers a variety of shopping opportunities rolled into one, with a carefully selected range of elegant and refined country clothing, along with a magnificent food hall.
On returning to your Hotel in St Andrews you will dress in all your finery for the finale to your visit to Scotland - a magnificent Gala Dinner at the fairytale Glamis Castle. The castle has been a royal residence since 1372 and was the childhood home of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, the birthplace of Her Royal Highness The Princess Margaret and legendary setting for Shakespeare's famous play 'Macbeth'.
After driving down the mile-long majestic avenue, you will receive a traditional Scottish welcome from the castle piper. Pre-dinner drinks will be taken in the warmth and elegance of the 17th Century Drawing Room, just as the Strathmore family have done for generations.
