If you’re looking for a relaxing, get away from it all Hen Weekend where you can enjoy genuine Highland hospitality with a little light adventure and some luxurious spa treatments then this is the package for you. From your base on the banks of the River Tay your weekend includes 2 night’s hotel accommodation, a Highland adventure activity, a spa treatment at a nearby Country House Hotel and a 3-course Celebration Dinner .

ACCOMMODATION

Your accommodation for the weekend will be a 3 star Hotel, attractively set on the banks of the River Tay in the pretty Perthshire village of Dunkeld. The hotel offers comfortable and stylish luxury and allows easy access to all the town’s pubs and restaurants. This package is based on 2 people sharing a twin en-suite room and includes a full Scottish breakfast each morning.

ACTIVITIES

Friday Night

Follow our guide to the best bars and restaurants in town, which includes the legendary Taybank Hotel with its nightly live music sessions – a real institution and a great way to start off your weekend.

Saturday Morning – Quad Biking

This morning you will make the short trip to a nearby Highland Estate where you will experience the sheer enjoyment of riding quad bikes over an exhilarating variety of tracks and obstacles in the beautiful Perthshire countryside. Your session will begin with a short lesson in the basics of riding these cross-country all-terrain vehicles, and then you will begin your tour through the Assault Course, Amphitheatre, and a variety of other natural obstacles.

Saturday Afternoon – Spa Treatment

After an adrenaline-fuelled morning breathing in the fresh Highland air you will spend the afternoon at a Country House Hotel enjoying the delights of their luxurious spa and beauty salon. We will provide each member of your group with a voucher which will enable you all to enjoy one of the many relaxing spa treatments on offer – why not enjoy the delights of an aroma essential facial, improve your skin tone with a marine algae body wrap, or a relaxing full body massage? The choice is yours.

Saturday Evening – 3-course Celebration Dinner

On your final night in the Highlands we’ll ensure you finish on a high with a specially arranged 3-course Celebration Dinner at a nearby restaurant or hotel. We can tailor this meal to your taste – Scottish, Indian, Chinese, Italian – you tell us and we’ll make all the arrangements for you. 

Sunday Morning

Sunday morning has been left free for you to relax by the River Tay or perhaps take a walk along its banks to the nearby Black Linn Falls. If yesterday didn’t have enough action for you we can always arrange an additional activity for your group before your departure later on today.

TRANSPORT

As all the activities we have included in this package take place in and around the centre of Dunkeld we haven’t included any special transport arrangements for you. We will, however, provide you with contact details for local taxi companys should you need them.

Dunkeld is just 90 minutes by train from Edinburgh and less than 2 hours from Glasgow. We can advise you on train times when you make your enquiry.
